Full size pool table
This is a full sized table by national standards.
The playing surface is 50" X 100" and the outside dimensions are 62 3/4" X
113". This is not a small table for a den or average game room.
This is not the "toy table" for a bunch of kids. The table is in our
basement. I built the house myself and the basement was designed
just for a full sized pool table. The "free space" needed is about
18 ft. 10" X 14 ft. 8" to avoid those silly cut off cue sticks that are so
common in home game rooms.

The other end
This table was made by Olhausen for pool halls. It
is not fancy, but extremely rugged in construction. This means that
it will stay level for a long time if treated as a precision instrument,
which is what a pool table is. It has 3 pieces of slate. The
cloth cover is middle quality felt and not very used.

Professionally made custom cover of canvas.
Accessories
The table comes with a rack with 5 one piece cues.
Two of the cues are 60" snooker length and three are standard 57" pool
cues. The wooden rack is in like new condition. The wood
bridge looks to be made of a two piece cue stick. The brush is still
very good and for brushing dust off of the surface. The score
keeping beads are on wire, The beads are the traditional way to keep
score for 14-1 continuous, commonly called straight pool. In the hay
day of pool that game was the world standard for competition. The
table has plastic/rubber drop pockets It has no collection box at one end.
There is no place for balls to jamb up. The
Aramith balls were made in
Belgium and are in excellent condition. Included are a dozen new
blue chalks. All accessories are like new and high quality.
History
We purchased this table from a pool hall in Lodi that was
going out of business in about 1993. I got the first table to go and
was able to select the best of them all. The table was about 5 years
old at that time. Since the installation, it has held a level set
very well. I have not had to even touch it for level even once.
We bought it more for our teenage son than for me. Better to have
his friends at our house than getting in trouble somewhere out of our
space. It worked, as he now has his master's degree and a home.
He and his friends learned to play and respect the table.
Playing pool was once an
important part of my life. Sometimes I can still run the table.
Mostly I stand there and try to remember just how I once played a certain
shot.
Asking $700 for all
I am keeping my own personal cue and tip tools, but all
else goes with the table to a new home. This would make a great
Christmas present for a serious pool player, or a family. Email to w6rec @
softcom.net but take out the two spaces. Call 209-745-3935 (9 AM
to 9 PM) for direct discussion. Do not call if you aren't willing to
pay the asking price for this table. I will not trade, or barter for
services. From time to time I will drop the price until sold.
This table is not in our way and this is not a "distressed" sale.
