Mirrors for BMW motorcycles

by Duane Ausherman

This page is new and far from complete.  Please help me with photos and info.

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but mirrors for mid and late eighties Yamahas will fit a /5, without adapters. These mirrors are readily available in a variety of shapes and stem lengths. Most importantly, the left-side mirror mounts with left-hand threads.

Here are some links that I found when looking for bar-end mirrors. There are some really cool options outside of the normal Napoleons.

I ended up buying headlight mounted Albert mirrors from Vech at Bench Mark Works, and they're really nice. I wanted to keep everything as low and narrow as possible. I did add a ny-lock nut inside the headlight shell to avoid overstressing the existing threads when tightening the mirrors down.
