Califia saddle bags for BMW motorcycles

This is a collection of photos and information from BMW riders and collectors.  I include photos of similar perspective in case one shows some aspect that another does not.  Please feel free to add information and photos.  Scans of original mounting instructions would be great. 

Califia also made travel trunk top boxes and fairings.  When the major motorcycle manufacturers started producing bikes with the accessories, Califia and others went out of business.

I remember very little about these bags, as I only saw them a few times on a /5.  Does anybody know any history?  If you have more information on these photos, please send it to me with a comment and identify the photo by number.  Thanks
