This is an interesting article by Jeff Dean. It took me some time to come around to appreciating the new models.
For example, a class action suit was nearly brought against BMW for the wobble issue. It was my research into this very serious issue that found and fixed the cause, the fork alignment.
The ugly large tank was hated. One BMW rider said, “A rider looks like a monkey f***ing a football.” That one sort of caught on too, maybe because it was so shocking and graphic.
We, humans, are “conservative” in that we don’t like change, and I was no different.
