My low life of playing pool

I used to play some pool, and maybe I took it a bit too far. Most pool players play what I call a social pool. They don’t care who wins. It is just a pleasant way to spend time with friends. I played a serious game and did well.
However, I was probably a better teacher than a pool player.
Here are a few stories that I remember. I might add more as these old days come back from the memory hole.
