Built by Dale Simpson, Bill Lambert, and Jim McKinna, the SlicedCycle was created as a learning tool for new Airheads. Why the name SlicedCycle? One side is cut away to display the internal parts of the motorcycle and the other side is left stock. It was built from parts of many different models of the mid-seventies BMW R series. It continues to be an ongoing project with parts added as they are donated. No operating motorcycles were harmed in the production of this machine. 😊
