The original alternator output of the /5 BMW motorcycle was only 180 watts. This bulletin tells how to upgrade it to 280 watts of ourput.
Notice that they call it a generator? A generator is for DC. An alternator puts out AC, which is then rectified to DC. There is no such thing as a “three phase generator” as mentioned.
