The Universal Life Church used to send out cards proving ordination by mail. I don’t remember paying anything for it, and maybe I had to send in a SASE.

I understand that it is now done online.

It was thought that one could use the card as some sort of tax dodge. I never needed to do that.

These are often used to marry people. Since I don’t believe in good people getting legally married, I never used it for that purpose.

Yes, I am a minister. I do take confessions.
