Special work tools for BMW motorcycles

This article applies to the /5 and later bikes.  Some of it applies to the /2 also.

BMW used Matra tools.  About 1/3 were not needed, another 1/3 were of poor design, and the rest were either total junk or very good.   Ed Korn made far better tools.  Ray Bunch made the best that I have ever seen.
